PF, ESI, professional tax and TDS
Whether your shop must register for PF or ESI, and how much professional tax applies, depends on the number of staff, their wages and your state. Cartix Prime makes the files from your payroll; it does not decide whether you are covered or file them for you. Check with your CA or labour consultant what applies to your shop, and set up the salary details to match.

- Add each staff member with their salary details.
- Mark attendance daily, or import punches from your attendance machine.
- Record leave and any advance as it happens.
- At month end, run payroll. Check each person's days, leave and advances.
- Print or share the payslips.
- Download the PF, ESI, professional tax and TDS files for your CA or for upload.
The advance record alone saves arguments. When a cashier asks why their pay is lower, the advance and the date it was given are written down, not remembered.
Why keep payroll with your billing

Is there billing software with staff attendance and payroll?

Can I make salary slips for shop staff?
